The per-headset annual fee is what keeps the whole system sharp: accuracy updates so every simulation stays current and OSHA-aligned, your LMS, MDM and Safety Insights Portal platforms, cloud hosting, and real support. Year 1 is bundled into the headset price. And all hardware carries a 12-month warranty. Year 2 renewal is optional — no contract — but that’s what it buys.

Humulo VR Safety Training Pricing
A Humulo VR safety training deployment starts at $3,499. That buys a one-time $1,150 account activation plus one PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise headset at $2,349, and the headset arrives loaded with the entire module library rather than a single course. Additional headsets are $2,349 each with no second activation fee. Every trainee gets their own seat at no extra cost, so there is no per-seat fee and no annual contract; optional Year 2+ service is $750 per headset per year.
The configurator above builds a package around your headcount. The tables below are the underlying list prices, published in full so you can budget without talking to anyone first. Every store item here is priced exactly as our store charges it, pulled from the live product catalog on 3 October 2026; LMS connections are services, billed at the rates shown.
List prices, every line item
| Line item | List price | Basis | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account activation | $1,150 | One-time, per organization | Account build, MDM enrollment, device provisioning, admin onboarding. Charged once, never again, no matter how many headsets you add later. |
| Headset, Year 1 | $2,349 | Per headset | PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise hardware plus first-year access to the full library, in English, Spanish and French. Includes a 12-month warranty. |
| Annual service, Year 2 and after | $750 | Per headset, per year | Content updates as standards change, new modules as they ship, support and device management. Optional. Decline it and the headsets keep working on the content already installed. |
| 30-Day Pilot | $3,499 | One headset, all-in | Activation plus one headset, refundable in full for 30 days from delivery including the activation fee. Equipment comes back in like-new condition, no restocking fee. |
| Trainee seats | Included | Unlimited | Every trainee gets their own seat: their own login, scores, certificates and permanent completion history. No per-seat or per-person fee at any headcount. |
| Multicast kit | $500 | Per kit | Casts up to four headsets to one TV or projector. Worth it if an instructor runs classroom sessions and needs the room to see what the trainee sees. |
| Casting dongle | $100 | Each | Single-display casting hardware. |
| SCORM packages for your LMS | $300 | Per app, one-time | One SCORM package per training, ready to upload to any SCORM-compliant LMS such as SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone or Workday; each trainee’s VR completion posts back to it. The full library tops out at $2,500, and Enterprise deployments include SCORM packages for every app. |
| Direct LMS API integration | From $5,000 | Per LMS, one-time | Completions sync automatically from the headset into your LMS through its API. Quoted for your platform, because the work depends on the LMS and on your IT team’s security review. |
| Forklift rig, sit-down (wheel and pedals) | $720 | Per rig | Physical steering and pedal controls for the sit-down forklift simulation. |
| Forklift rig, sit-down with seat | $1,550 | Per rig | Seated frame plus controls. |
| Forklift rig, stand-up | $2,495 | Per rig | Stand-up reach-truck control set, for sites running stand-up equipment. |
| Replacement headset hardware only | $1,599 | Per unit | Hardware replacement on an account that already holds library access. |
All prices in US dollars. Physical forklift rigs are optional add-ons; the forklift simulation runs on controllers without them. LMS connections are optional too: the built-in Humulo LMS is included with every headset.
What a real deployment costs
Headset packages follow one formula: Year 1 = $1,150 activation + ($2,349 × headsets), and Year 2+ = $750 × headsets if you renew service. Activation is charged once at the organization level, so the per-headset cost falls as the fleet grows. Here is that arithmetic worked out, including a three-year total, which is the number most capital requests actually ask for.
| Headsets | Year 1 total | Year 2+ per year | 3-year total | Effective Year 1 per headset |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (pilot) | $3,499 | $750 | $4,999 | $3,499 |
| 5 | $12,895 | $3,750 | $20,395 | $2,579 |
| 10 | $24,640 | $7,500 | $39,640 | $2,464 |
| 25 | $59,875 | $18,750 | $97,375 | $2,395 |
| 50 | $118,600 | $37,500 | $193,600 | $2,372 |
List-price arithmetic at the rates in the table above, excluding optional add-ons. Trainee seats are unlimited and included at every size. Add $500 per multicast kit if an instructor will run group sessions.
Headsets, not seats: the only thing you size
You size a Humulo deployment by headsets, not by people. Headsets answer “how many people can train at once,” and that is the only number that changes the price. Every trainee gets their own seat at no extra cost: their own login, scores, certificates and completion history. A plant that cycles 400 operators through four headsets over a year pays for four headsets, not 400 licenses.
That matters at audit time. Under 29 CFR 1910.178(l), the employer has to certify each powered industrial truck operator by name and date, and every Humulo trainee already has an individual record to support it. As a starting point, the configurator above sizes one headset under 75 trainees a year, two up to 150, three up to 250 and four up to 500, with at least one per site.
What is not included
Being specific about the gaps is more useful than another list of benefits. Custom simulation development of a hazard unique to your facility is quoted separately and is not part of any package price here, because the cost depends entirely on scope. Physical forklift rigs are optional hardware. Connecting to your own LMS is optional too: SCORM packages are $300 per app, one-time, with the full library capped at $2,500, and a direct LMS API integration starts at $5,000 per LMS. On-site instructor-led delivery is not a product we sell; the headsets are built to be run by your own trainers. Shipping and applicable sales tax are added at order. Multi-year prepayment is available but is not a published rate, so it needs a conversation.
What does not cost extra: additional modules or additional trainees. Every headset unlocks the full library of 20+ modules for every trainee, including forklift, fire extinguisher, lockout/tagout, confined space and PPE, plus anything released later while service is active. There is no per-module charge and no upsell path built into the catalog, which is the main structural difference between this and per-course pricing from e-learning vendors.
Pricing questions
How much does VR safety training cost from Humulo?
It starts at $3,499 for a 30-Day Pilot, which covers a one-time $1,150 account activation and one PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise headset at $2,349. Each additional headset is $2,349 and does not trigger a second activation fee. A five-headset Year 1 deployment is $12,895 at list price.
Is there a subscription or per-seat monthly fee?
No. Every trainee gets their own seat at no extra cost, at any headcount. You buy the headsets once and they’re yours. From year 2, a flat $750 per headset per year covers content updates, new modules, the LMS, device management and support; there is no long-term contract and renewal is your call each year. If you decline renewal, the headsets continue running the modules already on them; you stop receiving content updates and newly released modules.
What is the $1,150 activation fee for?
It covers the one-time setup work: building the account, enrolling devices in mobile device management, provisioning and loading each headset, and onboarding the administrator who will manage the fleet. It is charged once per organization, not per headset or per year, and it is refunded in full if a pilot is returned within the 30-day window.
How many modules do I get for that price?
All of them. Every headset unlocks the full library of 20+ simulations for every trainee, covering forklift operation, fire extinguisher use, lockout/tagout, confined space entry and PPE selection, in English, Spanish and French. Humulo does not sell modules individually or charge for additional topics, so the price does not change based on which hazards you train.
Does Humulo connect to our LMS, and what does that cost?
Yes, in two ways. SCORM packages are $300 per app, one-time, with the full library capped at $2,500: you upload them to any SCORM-compliant LMS, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone or Workday, and each trainee’s VR completion flows back into it. If you want completions to sync automatically from the headset through your LMS’s API, a direct integration starts at $5,000 per LMS and is quoted for your platform. Enterprise deployments include SCORM packages for every app, and if you don’t run an LMS, the built-in Humulo LMS is included with every headset.
What does a 25-headset deployment cost over three years?
$97,375 at list price. That is $59,875 in Year 1 ($1,150 activation plus 25 headsets at $2,349) and $18,750 in each of Years 2 and 3 if you renew service at $750 per headset. Declining service after Year 1 reduces the three-year figure to $59,875.
Can I get the pricing without filling in a form?
Yes, and that is deliberate. Every list price is on this page and in the store. You do not need to book a call, request a quote or enter an email address to learn what a deployment costs. The only figures that genuinely require a conversation are custom simulation development and direct LMS API integrations, where the scope determines the price.
